When it comes to shopping and low budgets, Marche Central in Djibouti city is a must. It extends from square Mahmoud Harbi to the east along the blvd de Bender. You should check it out in the early hours when all the activities reach their peak. It's a colourful, noisy maze of alleys and stalls, selling everything from clothes to vegetables and herbs.
